“Can you grill with lid open in the ninja grill XL or only in the pro model?”

• No , when you open the lid during the grilling process it pauses the machine. I am a huge grilled and always used regular grills(Weber) but I decided to try this and I have been completely been impressed! It’s a great little grill! I use mine outside to still simulate grilling outside and having my beer when I grill!

• The lid must be closed, otherwise it has no way to circulate the heat for cooking.
