You cook smaller portions the same way. The only change is in the time it takes to cook. For instance most recipes use the automatic 20min on the timer. If you're making a smaller batch simply decrease your cooking time. We've made single servings of many items (fries, tater tots, bacon, chicken wings) no problem just decrease cooking time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried cooking a single hamburger but if you buy a Ninja Foodi XL Combo Crisper Basket, you can cook a smaller portions of French fries and hamburgers at the same time. The Ninja Foodi XL Combo Crisper Basket is half the size of the crisper basket than comes with the XL grill and only uses the back half of the XL grill leaving the front half available for grilling something else at the same time. The problem is finding a place to buy this crisper basket. I found it on Kohls though. The other issue is figuring out a time and temperature to cook French fries and say hamburgers at the same time. There is a great method on YouTube to do this though if you search for using a Ninja Smart XL grill for cooking French fries and hamburgers at the same time.
