We do suggest using filtered water as this will also reduce how often your will need to run a clean cycle with the system. With that being said, it is not mandatory to use filtered water, tap water will also work in the unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The booklet recommends filtered water. So I go to Costco and buy packs of water bottles and that’s what I use. Here in Nevada our tap water is pretty bad so I’m sure it’ll taste weird with tap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Use filter water only
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dont think you have to use filtered water, but filtered water tastes better. With my original Ninja coffee maker I used a handheld pitcher to filter the water I drank and used in my Ninja. Now I have a frig with a water filter. If you don't filter your water, you will also have to clean your coffee maker more often.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I purchased this maker recently and we've only used tap water. I spent an extra $30 or so for Geeksquad in case it dies sooner rather than later. Taste of the coffee or tea is wonderful and robust. This is our fav maker we've ever owned to date, over the last 20 years of buying coffee makers.
