yes - it is designed to be a food processor as well as a blender - it has three sets of cutting blades on the tree inside the blender and so will chop and cut just about anything - the booklet with the blender shows how to use it to make salads and prep for other things not just blending but cutting and shredding

yes it can - it is designed to be a food processor as well as a blender so yes altho I use a masticating juicer before blending in avocado's and nut butters and other stuff to my juiced liquid - if I were making a salad or something like that this juicer will do it all!

You sure can. My mom juicing a lot with it
