HI, yes depending on your amiibo, they will stay at your campsite. Like Celeste won't stay at the campsite due to the fact that she is conducting a research on the stars. Now if you have a Goldie amiibo (figurine or card) then they will stay at the campsite and if you invite them over 3 times they will become a permanent resident. I believe you are also able to use the characters in other games. Hope this helps you.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Amiibo did not come to the island in Animal Crossings: New Horizons. They will scan into Harvey’s Photo Island where you will then be able to purchase a poster of your amiibo.

Please try again later.We grabbed this amino thinking it would help with animal crossing new horizon but it didn’t as far as we can tell , when scanning to see if she would come to the campsite , it said she was busy, She does show up in game to give you diy recipes and introduce you to shooting stars, so not like she can live there, I did notice the day I had scanned her that she did show up to tell me about shooting stars but this could’ve been coincidence , still it’s a cute amiibo to set on the shelf and can be used with other animal crossing games I beiieve but cannot confirm
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For animal crossing it depends on the Amiibo. Certain ones cannot become villagers. Celest, blathers and some others either run shops on you island or like celest visit periodically so they don’t move in. I think you can get diy’s or items from them but I havn’t tried that yet.
