All amiibo work for both the switch and wii u as long as the game you are playing is amiibo compatible.

Please try again later.Lucina as well as all amiibo work on Nintendo Wii U, New Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch game consoles. amiibo are not compatible with Nintendo Wii. Each of those devices has a spot on the console to scan the amiibo figures (Wii U - rectangular image on the gamepad; 3DS - on the touch screen or by using an external amiibo reader if you have an older 3DS model; Switch - on the joystick on the right Joy-Con). What the amiibo do will vary with each game. Not all amiibo work on all games, nor are all games compatible with amiibo.
