“Do you have to have internet to play the Switch? I understand you can download games via their EStore...but say ive already downloaded some games to my console, can I still play the games and enjoy them without being connected to the internet?”

Depends on the game. I personally only buy actual physical games-and those don't need an Internet connection (although some games will have patches available if you're connected online). Plus of course obviously if you want to play a multiplayer game over the Internet. You should be able to download games from their online store and play them without a connection, but then you're stuck buying storage for them, can't easily move them to another console (if at all), etc., so if possible stick to retail games on cartridge.
