• No. You can trade it in for credit at but it won't be enough to buy a new one. You'll still have to pay some.

• It ultimately depends on which Switch you have but ultimately you'd still be slashing a chunk out of the price, but I find that Best Buy does do good trade in prices when trading in products in Good to Great condition as they describe it.
