The frame needs an internet connection to upload your pictures to the frame. No WiFi is not the end of the world. You can link the picture frame to your cell phone and use that as a connection EXCEPT: 1. The frame will use the data allowance from your cell phone - if you have an unlimited plan this is okay. Otherwise, don’t buy the frame because you will use too much data and have to pay extra for what data the frame uses. 2. The frame will only stay connected when your cell phone is in range of the frame. When you or your cell phone “leave” your cell phone cannot upload any more pictures. (You can still view the pictures, but without a connection you cannot upload new pictures.) Without WiFi you are limited with what you can do with the frame.
