“We are on Straight Talk (owned by Tracfone) and have been told we have to have VoLTE compatible CDMA phones and can only use Verizon SIMs now. No one at Nokia or Straight Talk could help me see if this phone would work with a Verizon SIM. So confusing!”

This is a old issue that no longer exists. CDMA and GSM was the technology years ago to make voice calls. Now, with VoLTE (Voice over LTE) you no longer need a CDMA phone to make phone calls on Verizon. I'm using an AT&T GSM Samsung S7 on Verizon and its fine. Trust me. CDMA and GSM are old tech and phones no longer need them to make phone calls using 4G.

It should work just fine, it's an unlocked phone, any sim goes!
