ANn Great question! Yes, this elliptical can be used in the manual mode without an iFIT membership. We recommend trying the included 30-day iFIT trial to experience the one-of-a-kind personal training, but this is not required to use the machine. You can find us at my.iFIT.com if you have further questions. Thanks! - NordicTrack – Powered by iFIT
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does. I did not purchase iFit. You have to be careful to not purchase iFit, because they make it difficult not to purchase it. It comes with many guided programs installed. I just use the manual setting. because the guided programs are too easy for me.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does but I think it would be not the right choice of product to use for just the manual workouts given the size of the screen which is great for ifit workouts. Something with just a basic LED dashboard and preprogrammed workouts would be a better fit. But i-Fit is worth a look - I enjoy their workouts and I do a lot more following them than I would just using manual workouts.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes there are manual controls included. But this is an expensive machine if that is what you are going to use. You may want to consider a more basic model as some of the cost of machine is the purpose built computer, sensors and high res color display which are completely unnecessary if you use it manually... Have you thought about subscribing to Fit monthly and then cancel membership in the summer when you are not using the machine (assuming that's the case.) It might make it more affordable? But if you really want the machine, it can definitely be used without iFit manually.
