• Yes, it makes awesome milkshakes! I use mine for chocolate protein shakes, but sometimes add ice cream or ice cubes. It makes a really good thick shake. Just don't mix more than a few secs at a time.

• Probably, I would try with frozen strawberries and bananas mixed in with a good brand of ice cream.
