Yes it will grind almonds, chia and flax seeds with powder consistency

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In liquid It's powerful enough to break them up not sure about the powder consistency though. I do use chia seeds with no issues in my smoothies I would recommend going with the chopped almonds so the blender has less to break up if your still going to try it out though.
