Yes, it can handle blending with fruit/berries. use fruits/berries instead of crushed ice, don't pack the fruits/berries and use a small amount of liquid and you should be fine. Enjoy!!

I will say don't go excessively crazy with the frozen because I've made a smoothie( or two haha) where the liquid got so cold with the berries that it just turned into a super frozen partially mixed slushie. Which requires me to pull almost 25% of what I put in our and replaced it with whatever liquid/yogurt you desire. But normally for the 24 oz I use 4-5 large frozen strawberries and a small handful of black/red raspberries and a small handful of blueberries(all frozen), with fresh fruit or veggies with yogurt or water, Oj, Milk, whatever you're feeling! It's really endless! I also recommend putting the more frozen products in first instead of last. That's another mistake I've made a couple times. It works but not as well as you'd like it too haha..
