- Answer No, the blade is not dishwasher safe, just the cups and their accessories. However, it is very easy to clean. If you want, you can put a drop of dish soap and water into a cup and run the nutribullet for about 30 seconds. Clean as a whistle.!

QuestionWhy does the bottom of the blade rust after a few months of normal wear? Is this toxic if goes through blade and into juice? Sometimes motor gives off a burnt smell also.

- Answer You need to ensure your pieces are completely dry before reattaching for storage. Shaking out some of the water before placing it in dish rack would also help. Is rust Toxic? I think if you google it you can find your answers best to that question.
