It all comes down to what you're using your monitors for. Are you using all 3 for some kind of racing game? Maybe an FPS? Or maybe an RPG? A 1070 can run most games, but fast paced graphic heavy games are more suited for the 1080. While the 1070 can run 3 monitors, in the long run the 1080 will last longer in comparison with future games. It also depends on how much you're willing to spend. The 1080 dropped in price since the 1080 TI just came out so it's worth it in the long run. But if you're tight on cash, the 1070 will suffice.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 1060 can do 4 monitors at 1080P easy. I had a 2GB 760 gtx and had 4 monitors connected to it and one of the them was a 120hz 1080p. So you don't need to change monitors but maybe get a different cables for the hook ups. The only reason I moved to a 1080 was wanting faster response in newer 3D games. Other than that there is not much difference. Keep the 1060 and figure out why you can't hook up 3 monitors. My guess is you have the wrong cables.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would personally get the gtx 1080. It's equipped with 8gb of memory, as is the 1070, but has a stronger graphics chip.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Upgrade if you can now. The prices for a 1080 are very low. You won't be disappointed
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Without knowing all your spec., I can give you just a general answer. I would suggest that you jump to the best card you can. There is no such thing as too much, when it comes to video cards. I have the 1080 Founders Edition with 8 gig or VRAM, and I only run one monitor, so I do not have any experience with a rig like you have. If it is bit coin mining, then your system speed supporting that many monitors isn't a issue, running graphic intensive software, you choice of a video card becomes more critical. Jumping as high as you can, in at least the video card market,is never a unsafe bet. I hope I helped, good luck
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1080 would give you the best results but 1070 would work
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.A GTX 1070 will handle 3 1080p 60hz monitors no problem. You would want to think about the GTX 1080 if you are running 3 1080p 144hz monitors. There is also the GTX 1070ti now that would also handle 3 1080p 144hz monitors. Any of these solutions will work for you but if you are running only 60hz monitors there is no need to jump on the GTX 1080 or 1070ti. If you are planing to go 1440p or 4k later you will definitely be in the GTX 1080 or GTX 1080ti range or looking at SLI options at 4k with 3 monitors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.a triple monitor setup is tough. However, the 1080 can handle 3x1080p, although you might have to reduce some settings to hit 60FPS. Go for it, but get a non Founder's Edition.
