No need for PCIe4, PCIe3 will be fine. At the extreme end of overclocking at 8k there might be negligible difference of maybe 2% but at 4k we think now there won't be a difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you will not need to upgrade your motherboard from pcie 3.0 to a current gen 4.0 to use this card, however yes you will lose some performance they estimated roughly 2-4 percent in performance so it is very minimal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You won't see a bottleneck in this instance until you go up to 4k settings. Even then, the difference between PCI-E 3.0 and 4.0 cannot be determined or even if this videocard will saturate the entirety of the bandwidth. In other words. No, you do not have to upgrade to PCI-E 4.0.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The rtx 2080ti utilizes only 60% of available pcie 3.0 bandwidth. The person who said it using a 3.0 board with an ampere card will result in a 10-15% performance loss vs using pcie 4.0 is mistaken.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No PCIe 4 is not required as would make no sense as intel does not yet even support pci4
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, these cards are backwards compatible to PCIE 3.0. You may want to consider an upgrade in the future as the new ports allow faster data transfer giving the gpu a higher “maximum” setting.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, You don't need to upgrade your motherboard. All the new cards will be compatible with pcie 3.0. The only difference will be 10-15% performance gain if you use pcie 4.0 and this will also be valid in games coming up in late 2021. So you can upgrade your motherboard then.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.absolutely not you can run the graphic card on high end system 2016 or higher. Recommended: PSU 750W
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pcie gen3 works
