The 3070/3080 Ti models will not be labeled LHR because they will all be LHR. The LHR label was only for cards like the 3070 and 3080, which have normal and LHR variants.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You are correct... this is not mentioned anywhere. It should be blatant and all over so that there is still a better focused chance with only gamers and scalpers trying to buy, and less miners buying. However, I read through this in detail and all the nested specs, and there is zero mention of the now limited mining ability.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nvidia only requires the LHR label on cards that have LHR and non-LHR variants such as the 3070, and 3080. The label is not required by Nvidia for 3080 ti and 3070 ti because they ONLY have LHR versions. Gamers Nexus breaks this down in a recent video.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are already workarounds for the LHR variants floating around the dark depths of the internet if you know where to look lol. There's a few open source projects that the mining community is using with great success. Nvidia estimated that hash power would be decreased by 50% when right now as I type this there are driver updates to get an additional 30% more out of the card (for a total between 70 & 80%). So these Low Hash Rate cards are still more powerful then 90% of the cards out their. These projects are optimistic that they will soon be able to unlock the full potential of these "LHR" cards again. Nvidia will never turn their back on the mining community, it's far too lucrative and it helps keep demand for their products at an all time high. You got to remember that they are in a vicious competition with AMD who will not restrict hashrate. It's a double edged sword, the miners buy up all the cards which cause shortages but also allow huge inflows of funds to the GPU makers. This money is then funneled to research and development and helps keep investors and analysts off their back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it was already said that 3070Ti and 3080Ti will all be LHR therefore no label is necessary.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nvidia FE models will not be LHR according to Nvidia themselves. The board partners will have LHR, not founders editions. SO the founders editions (ones straight from Nvidia) will not be labeled at all for LHR cause they aren't LHR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That only applies to cards that were previously already available like the 3070 and 80 non-ti models. Anything new like the ti models of the 3070 and 80 will not get that label.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've read rumors both ways: The 3080ti and 3070ti never existed in a non-LHR form, therefore they don't need to be marked "LHR" to differentiate them. No LHR FEs
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.who cares it wont be available anyways
