If i have a 1070 is it worth upgrading to this? null

As long as it's better then a 1070 just depends on what your cpu is having a too powerful GPU can cause bottle neck.

If $400 dollars is your budget, I would say so. It outperforms the 6750xt, which is your only other real option at that price point.

Not as far as 1080p gaming goes unless you need higher refresh rates. But it is worth it otherwise, although the RTX 4060 gets released sometime next month for $299.

You are perhaps in the one group of customers that this might make sense for. This WOULD be a significant upgrade for you, but the price to performance isn't quite there. If I were you I would try and find a good deal on a 3060 ti while they are still around. If you want to do 40 series I can highly recommend the 4070. The price IS a little steep but it is a quite capable card and has 12gb of vram.
