I'm not sure if it does. I've read a few things that suggested another part of the issue was possibly caused by third party manufacturing. As a consequence I bought the Nvidia manufactured RTX 4080. My computer guy showed me where the problem originates and was aware of how to make the connection to avoid the issue. No problems so far.
