• A:Answer No, the headset is a "complete" or "stand=alone" solution to VR meaning it is not meant to work with any other platform. It's kinda like Playstation and Xbox, if you eliminate the need for a TV/display (imagine they had a screen built-in) they were intended to be used independantly from each other. Only after 2 decades on the market in direct competition against one another we are getting cross-platform compatibility. Same sort-of applies the the Oculus GO. PC/Steam support could be a thing, or maybe not. Most seem to like the experience as-is and what is available, so take that for what it is worth.

• A:Answer I suggest you buy the quest. Quest is for all game downloads as well as movies and you can download any game. It's a game console itself. The Go is more for movies Netflix and a very minimum game use. With the Go you can only download games from there app, from you're cell phone only

Q: QuestionI bought the Oculus Go for my grandkids. They are 8 & 10 years old. I was going to surprise them today; but upon reading the instructions it clearly states not for children under 13 years old. I did not see any such info on your website???????

• A:Answer My son is 10 and I supervise his use of this product and it fine for him. I think with younger children the concern is overuse (can cause hallucinations is what I read) and inappropriate downloads. Those things I control. There are some really cute experiences for the go and it’s a lot of fun. We don’t allow shooting or gore/violent games/experiences. There are a lot of other types of fun stuff beside that so it’s worth it. Just my opinion.

• A:Answer Not sure since I have an IPhone, however, the beauty of this is that it operates off of bluetooth and WiFi. No need to manually attach a phone like some older/cheaper units. Check out your google store for an Oculus App. If they have it, you're good.

• A:Answer That is strictly up to you for how much you are going to use it. You are only giving up drive space if you choose the 32 Gig version. That is literally the only difference in between the 2.

• A:Answer Quest is a independent game console like an Xbox, play station. You can watch movies play games, basically download everything and all is virtual. The GO is limited on games and is made more for movies watchers and you can only download them from your cell phone and there App, which is limited and only there limited games are virtual

• A:Answer I wear glasses and it works fine. The kit comes with a spacer for glasses. The only issue I have is that I wear bifocals, so if I look through my glasses at the bifocal line the view is a bit blurry. But that’s not Oculus’ fault. I just adjust where I’m looking through my lenses.

• A:Answer Good questions! I guess my first question to you is how old are the children? Are they going to be gaming, or are they just going to be looking around, viewing movies, pictures, etc. Light gaming would be fine with this, but if your children are into gaming specifically, then I would not recommend this unit (you may want to look at the Quest for that). As far as how many, I bought 2 thinking that there would be 2 of them using it constantly. Turns out only 1 really likes it, and the other is not as interested. So, 1 unit is fine for my situation. It was easy to return since it wasn't even opened.

• A:Answer The Oculus Go... hands-down. Here is why: 1. It's portable. 2. It's cheaper. 3. It's simpler. (PS4 isn't exactly what I would call portable. No PS4/TV/PSVR peripherals/VR Games, all you'd need for the Oculus GO is the headset/controller and whatever games or content you have saved on it. Kind of a no-brainer to me when I look at it that way. As for the storage option, I tend to think about the freedom that more space gives for the (relatively) small bump in price here.
