Can I trade my Oculus Rift for an Oculus Rift S null

Not worth the trade. My friend has the original and once used it. Only the built in headphones vs built in speakers is the change. Not a significant upgrade choice in my opinion.

No. Honestly, you'd be stupid to get rid of your Rift right now. The Rift S is buggy AF, broken beyond belief and is having NOTHING but problems. The headband sucks, the sound is the most awful thing you've ever experienced (Like early 2000's era phone speakers = Rift S Sound quality.) Keep your Rift CV1 for at LEAST another 6 months till its actually stable and working properly if you insist on upgrading. Then head for Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist for your original RIFT.

No there is no trade in program that I know of. You can however sell your CV1 on ebay to make up some of the cost of the Rift S.

You can sell your Rift. You can buy a Rift S. No one is holding you back!
