The Rift-S uses neither. Just a single cable to your computer, and onboard optical tracking.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Touch controllers are definitely wireless. They seem to use bluetooth protocol (like most modern console controllers e.g. PS4, Switch), and they don't connect to the computer, only directly to the headset. There are games that don't require the wireless Touch controllers, so that could be a possibility for you. The headset itself is wired via usb 3.0 and display port, and has no built in wireless capabilities.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd speculate that it doesn't, but I don't know for certain. It's hardwired back to the computer, and the sensors are all built into it, so they shouldn't need a wireless communication. Also, there's no wifi/bluetooth listed in the minimum specs for the device. https://support.oculus.com/248749509016567/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Rift S does not use either, it's completely wired.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Rift S Touch controllers use a custom wireless protocol to communicate to the headset. So it is neither Wifi or Bluetooth spec, but you still will have wireless communications flying between the handheld devices and the headset. But no requirement to connect to WiFi or Bluetooth to operate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This model is wired, not wireless.
