How does the phone grip attach to the phone? null

It has both an adhesive material and magnets. The adhesive helps grip to non-MagSafe phones. The magnets are made for iPhone so it locks on super tight.

You will need an iPhone (12 and up) that has MagSafe or a case on your Android that has MagSafe built-in. The magnetic array holds the ohSnap in place

With poor quality glue and a weak magnet. Continually falls off due to overall crap quality.

It aligns with magsafe if you have it, but it has adhesive you should use if you want it to stay on well.
