It really varies state to state but as far as having to have a driver's license since it goes under 15 mph and weighs 75 lb or less you do not need to have a registration nor do you need to have a driver's license to operate it is the general consensus I found look on your state's laws websites for electric bikes an electric scooters you should be able to find something
