That depends on how resource-intensive the game is. Even on the desktop, this monitor is actually highly unstable at 144hz and will only output a clear 120hz signal. An RX 580 can probably run most 1080p games on medium or high close to that limit, but ultra settings will probably be closer to 60fps.

I have a gtx 1080ti and runs smoothly. Your setup will work great!
