This unit is not designed for continuous blood pressure monitoring or for continuous wear. Although Omron has made quality products for many years (in my opinion the best brand in the consumer market), I would recommend against the use of a wrist based blood pressure monitor as the further you move from the heart, the less accurate the blood pressure readings. As a physician, I would recommend upper arm models only for my patients. Omron makes many excellent models from $30-$100.

not continuously. only when you push the start button. but I suppose you can push it as many times as you want.

You can check your blood pressure any time you want but I don't recommend this product! It is difficult and cumbersome to use. I wish I had gotten the upper arm one. It's definitely not a wearable - it doesn't automatically keep track of your BP. I hope this helped.

I don't understand your question. If you are asking if the monitor can be worn for 24 hours with a constant monitoring, I don't think so. However, it is easy to operate and to transfer your reading to your smart watch.
