Excellent question and Best Buy keeps quiet about what they are selling, and they are the one that make the "technical" mistakes. Back in the day I bought my first smart phone from Best Buy, the LG G2 and could not recognize the language that the phone greeted me. It was not French, but not Spanish too... I managed to put it in English and later I learned that the phone was for the Brazilian market..., but I bought it in New Hampshire. Not everything was working well on the phone, I mostly used it for the hot-spot, a $600 phone. In our days with the IMEI number a phone can be checked if it is compatible with the different cell phone companies, but until it is not physically activated and calls, texts and data are working in a good way, the risk is on the buyer. If you buy a phone from Best Buy just to check the IMEI number and return it to Best Buy for uncompatibility, it is going to cost the buyer $35 restocking fee. It's like Best Buy want just to sell, but without wasting any time for service. Best Buy can check with one OnePlus 12 phone every single cellphone company for connectivity and make a clear list with who the phone works. It's like the Best Buy high administration is thinking which store to close, instead of to start selling more phones with expertise and be one stop shopping experience par excellence. OnePlus told me that AT&T, T-mobile and Verizon are supported directly, but not their subsidiaries. Still, a lot of mixed answers on the internet, that Best Buy can clear out if they wish to sell smart phones and not closing stores.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Provided that you buy the factory unlocked US model device, it will work 100% with AT&T and T-Mobile both. They have been tested, and the only difference between the US models in international models is that the international models may not have the same bands that the United States uses.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have ATT firstnet and it would not work. Sad because it felt better in my hands than the z fold 6, which has full support. ATT rep tried to look at activating with e-sim IMEI number and said it wouldn't. I was able to return the phone within the same day with no restocking fee because I did not unbox it. I just had the phone in hand with IMEI. Sometimes they are in the same mall and it's convenient to go back and forth in one half-hour check. I think you could possibly have a clerk look at the item IMEI on the box, probably requiring a purchase, but without opening it you could call in and see if its activatable. I don't know how many times I would try. I did not try sticking my old firstnet physical sim card in it to see if that would work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work on AT&T.
