QuestionIs there any setting so the player remembers what disc it was playing when turned off rather than starting over with disc 1?. So if I am listening to disc 4 and shut the CD player off, when I turn back on I'd like to start with disc 4 instead of disc 1.

QuestionI purchased a onkyo DX-C390 CD player from Best Buy less than a year ago, it has never worked properly. When I choose the "random" play it repeats the songs that have played before without using the "repeat" selection! This is VERY frustrating !

- Answer Hello, I did a search on Best Buy's site, and I've only seen CD players that go as high as 6 CDs. However, Onkyo and Pioneer are owned by the same parent company, so I would check Best Buy's site every so often to see if an open box player that can handle more than 6 CDs becomes available. Pioneer use to have a 12 disc CD player, the model was PD-DM802. This has long since been discontinued. But, if that's the type you're looking for, I would try Amazon or eBay. Keep in mind though, that particular player is an older version, and it will fail much sooner than the 6 CD players currently available at Best Buy. Also, while it it more expensive than the Onkyo, Yamaha has a 5 disc CD player that is equipped with a USB port, so you can connect an MP3 player to it and play music from that in addition to the CDs. I have added a link to that player from this post for your consideration. I hope this information helps!

- Answer Check your speaker wires for frays and or breaks. Also if any wires are exposed. Make sure speakers are not defective. Also make sure speaker wires properly connected to receiver and properly tightened.
