What advantage does Ooma have over Magic Jack? null

I've had both and found that Magic Jack sucks and Ooma has been great for the 9 years I've been using it.

I've had both as well. Yes, the Magic Jack sucked. Love the Ooma Telo and the service. One big difference is that I can get and receive faxes with the Ooma. The Magic Jack really sucked at this. It was unusable for faxes.

I have used Magic Jack for years and I am happy. I don’t have monthly payments like with Ooma which is called fees and taxes. Furthermore, my once a year upfront payment for Magic Jack service is half the cost of Ooma! Finally on the Magic Jack website, you have all the Magic Jack features available. Call Block is my favorite.
