A:Answer When connecting Poma fir the first time, it may cycle for quite awhile. Mine got updates, then installed them, etc. The first connection probably took 15-20 minutes. Then when activating the first handset, which took effect quite quickly, it also had to be updated; but took only about 4-5 minutes. The next 2 handsets activated almost immediately. So, it seemed to take a long time; but if you are patient the Ooma sets itself up.
