I'd recommend a ceiling mount in this situation. Reason being the angle of the image is not ideal for a flat surface more than a few feet of the ground unless you have a really tall wall to project on and want it close to the top. Make sure there is a stud as this projector is heavy and large. I have a high quality book shelf (real wood) I was able to mount mine in to counter the angle. Also allows me to have my other equipment plugged in and right behind me (ps4 and surround sound) It is about 7 feet off the ground though producing a 125" screen about 12 feet back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We always keep ours on a table the same height as our couches and it sits between them. We have perfectly straight and crisp clear images. We can't mount from the ceiling due to our gigantic ceiling fan, but have never felt the need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Projector needs to align with the bottom or top of your screen. I originally had mine on a small table 2 feet off the ground in between couches but changed it to be mounted up top.
