Yes unless you buy a base for android or there is another one for fire tablets.

On the Osmo website, it has a list of compatible devices. The Amazon Fire is the only other device that can be used. No where on this box does it say that. Probably because Osmo is getting some kind of kickback from Apple, SMH! The website I found it on is https://support.playosmo.com/hc/en-us/articles/235182667-What-exactly-do-I-get-when-I-buy-an-Osmo-kit-What-is-in-each-kit- ; just google it and it has list of compatible devices. Hopefully this helps
