  • QuestionCan I make French Fries with this blender?

    Asked by AntB.

    • Answer Definitely no? It works like any other blender, mainly for drinks and puree and has nothing to do with French Fries. Are you thinking of an air fryer which are great for French Fries, I did buy a smaller air fryer at Best Buy for French Fries and I love it.

  • QuestionI just purchased and used 1 time and was unable to remove the entire glass and blade attachment. Needless to say my protein drink was everywhere. Did I do this incorrectly? How do I remove it?

    Asked by myblender.

    • Answer Sadly, we too had the same experience and no amount of pushing nor twisting was effective to removing the blade portion of the mixer from the motor base without the jar becoming unscrewed. Smoothie leaked everywhere and we had to turn the unit upside down to remove the bottle. Returned to Best Buy (whom cheerfully issued a prompt refund) with the blade assembly still attached to the base. To me, an engineering flaw due to this new locking mechanism. You also cannot leave the blender unattended, you must continuously pulse or hold the power button. Reverting back to the 250 watt older model that has no such issue (although Best Buy no longer carries the 250 watt model...website says: "This item is no longer available in new condition").

  • QuestionWould this blender work to make salad dressing - would it blend fresh parsley/cilantro?

    Asked by Bee.

    • Answer While I'm sure this would work to make salad dressing, I wouldn't use the same one for dressings and drinks. May have residual flavors.

  • QuestionI cannot remove the blade assembly to clean it and there are no directions in the user manual. Please let me know how to remove the blade assembly from the blender for cleaning.

    Asked by Works.

    • Answer I found blade assembly would get stuck, so I tighten the cup as much as possible and worked it off by wiggling it a bit. After I removed it I place a little drop of cooking oil on the little safety switch on the assembly. Now it comes off really easy. Just beware cup thread turns the same direction needed to remove it so if you're not careful I hope you have plenty of paper towels for the mess.
