You are able to view your antenna content both in and outside of network using the AirTV. In fact, as long as your device is located within the United States or Puerto Rico, you can view it anywhere that you can find an internet connection using the AirTV app. https://www.airtv.net/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.@AirTV Support is this technical restriction? I mean if app and device validate IP Locations, live in USA South CA but I own a property in Mexico very close to US border where I can access NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX and several Mexican channels among other sub channels (60 channels aprox), I have internet connection (Mexican ISP), so I was looking the option to connect device there and watch over internet using sling air app here in US. On my US house I can only watch 1 OTA channel so it doesn't pay the cost/value.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used this tuner with my slingtv account and the antenna channels can be viewed on outside networks. I had the airtuner hooked to my parents antenna & network 5 miles away from my home and then watched those channels on my slingtv account at home via roku.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works on both local network and when you're away from home. Unfortunately, unlike the SlingBox, which was a fantastic product, AirTV is complete trash and should be avoided. I am sad to report that AirTV is absolutely nothing like the SlingBox and fails to deliver in every way possible. The local stream quality is bad. Both apps that are used with the device are terrible. The Sling TV app is a paid product. The Air TV app, while free, is very gimped and won't let you use the DVR functionality.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This box connects to your antenna via coax and to your local network via a rj45 hard connection or via WiFi to your router. I use a Roku stick for each tv I connect. I have also added a 1TB portable disk drive (170 hours of HD program storage) for recording from the local channels I receive via my antenna. I located the antenna and the AirTV box in my attic. There's coax between the box and the antenna and an AC power connection to the box. I have a wireless connection from the AirTV box to my router. The box integrates local channels with Sling so the local channels are listed in the Sling channel guide and recording local programs is seamless. The biggest drawback is that you can only have two TVs tuned to local channels or one TV and a recording in progress from the local channels at one time due to it being a dual tuner. Hope they increase that to 4 in later versions. I subscribe to Sling so I have 3 tuners there that I can use simultaneously with the AirTV giving me a total of 5 tuners that can be used at the same time. I was skeptical but so far my experience has been very positive. Hope this helps.
