A:AnswerThe Outerbox Defender is not waterproof protecting the iPad from water, and no plastic cover over the camera lens. The case provides excellent protection to the iPad if accidentally dropped expecially by grandkids, which is why I purchased it. The same cover is used by some elementary schools.
A:AnswerYou can use some adhesive remover. First gently pull off the plastic cover. Then use adhesive remover to take off any excess glue that you can’t remove by hand. Try to use as little adhesive remover as possible as some can be too strong and melt the plastic.
A:AnswerI’m sure you can cut it out, but I believe it is intended to be part of the protection for your iPad. I agree that it impacts the way the fingerprint scanner performs.
