Honestly the tumbler itself does whole hot stuff for at lease 6-7 hours. I totally forgot I had coffee in my backpack and when I opened my tumbler when I got off work, it was still pretty hot. The only bad thing is Otterbox claims the lids is “leakproof”, which in case, it’s not! So now I just use it as a thermos. If you don’t mind spending the money, I recommend getting the Takeya 30 oz tumbler. This one is solid. Holds the liquid temperature and is leakproof. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/takeya-actives-31-3-oz-thermal-cup-arctic/5981125.p?skuId=5981125
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I thought the same thing - I leave the sipping hole exposed and I'm telling you - Las Vegas, Phoenix and Florida hot - drink stays cold - just had 42 degrees for a few days - coffee piping hot.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The lid that came with our tumbler from Best Buy has a very snug friction fit top, with a flip over cover for the sipping hole. The flip over cover has a rubber gasket on it as well, so it functions well to contain accidental sloshing or spills. The hole is adequate for drinking, but I wouldn’t call it “huge”. Personal experience, a tumbler full of hot tea was still quite pleasantly warm a couple of hours later.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can also go to Otterbox.com and buy a separate closable sealed lid from them
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I own both cups but the black and turquoise cups come with sealed lids whereas the stainless only has the open lid. That’s why I own 3
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a clear plastic lid that will keep things hot or cold for hours but note that when I added hot soup, I noticed the top layer wasn't AS HOT as further down the cup. Also... it is NOT spill proof.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. One of mine came with a closing lid. I wish both had it.
