• It's not hard like a rock, but neither soft. Closer to the hard end. On a soft to hard scale, 0 being soft 10 being rock hard, I would say it's a 7.

• It is a pretty hard plastic, which protects the phone well but makes it hard to put on or take off.

• In between hard plastic and silicone. It has flexibility for putting it on/taking it off but the sides/edges particularly are hard plastic. The flexible parts are more akin to a hardened rubber than a soft silicone
