Very easy to fix: remove the cas. Without the phone, there is space for pressing them deeply and strech the rubber on that area a bit like 10-20 times, worked right away. I had the case for 2 weeks and had not improved at all until i did this. It is not necessary to use a blade.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. What I have found on my new iPhone Otterbox Defender case is a fix I did on previous Otterbox cases of my old iPhones. The real reason why the buttons are hard to press is the fact that the internal projection is not deep enough. So by now knowing this I took my hot glue gun and applied a thin layer to the surface that touches the iPhone button thus making the gap smaller. This worked on my old cases as well as my new case for my iPhone SE 2022. Bear in mind if you add too much, the button will be continuously depressed which you don’t want. If you applied too much, pull it off and try again. It works!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt that they'll be easier to push over time. Otterbox really dropped the ball on this one. Good luck trying to take the case off your phone.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the buttons do softenup.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just fixed mine and it was SUPER easy! I've had mine for months and the power button was so hard to push I turned on the feature to wake up the phone on pickup (which wastes battery). Today I decided to take the case off and either fix it or throw it away and buy something else. I took it off and started massaging the power button pressing it repeatedly and deeply... And the whole button popped out. Turns out, the button is slotted in. More importantly, there is a thin side and a thick side. I just put the thick side towards my phone, the opposite of how it came. Now it's super easy to push the power button. Enjoy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you get a razor blade and slit the sides in the middle it will be loose and if you notice after awhile if the case is tight and it becomes loose it’s because it cracked an the thin part of the bottom that flexes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had mine for over 6 months. No change in the elasticity of the case
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine are still a little stiff, but I don't mind cause then they aren't being pressed super easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No ... they stay that way ... find another case is my recommendation.
