I own the 25 quart and the 45 quart. The answer somewhat depends upon the location (in the shade or not) and the temperature where the cooler is located. The company rates their coolers at 14 days. I certainly have NOT had that success. In fairness, is their rating based on a cooler with ice whereby the location is in a "cool" Colorado (Otter location) or where? I'm in "hot" Dallas-FortWorth, TX. Summertime and in the shade, --- 4-5 days maximum. Summertime and in no shade, --- 2-3 days maximum. You can extend these times by about 3-5 days if you supplement the ice with a frozen block (you know those rubbermaid and other brands of approximately 1.5" x 5" blue blocks of liquid you freeze in the freezer) each day starting day 1. Also, when the ice melts, extremely cold melted water does a pretty good job keeping your drinks and whatnot COLD. Overall, I like the product. It does not perform per their advertisement. But, it does perform. It is also "made in the USA!" (Made in USA is one of the reasons I bought this product over the competition.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I live the n Las Vegas and open it all day. It also sits in the front seat of my work truck in direct sun light. I’ve lasts 3 days and water still cold day 4
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you follow the directions and pre-chill the cooler, I've had mine last for at least 5 - 7 days opening a couple times a day before the ice was totally melted. However, the water is still cool. This has been in high 80's to Low 90's in sun-light.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had ice last about 2.5 days in extreme 100 degree heat...have not tested it yet in average temp
