• A:Answer Size up. You only have thirty days and one chance to change ring sizes. The summer causes hands to swell and the ring locked onto my finger and could not be removed without significant pain and numbness. Better yet, dont buy it. The company has horrible customer support and they woudl not help me and I threw the $400 ring in the trash because of poor sizing. The BB ring sizer is a joke, Dont trust it, just order a kit and size up. And dont choose your smallest finger, which I did creating another problem for me. But any good company should have been able to help me and keep me a loyal $6/month customer on top of their pricey ring. Go buy a Ringconn ring for less with better design and better customer service and a free app. Go to trust pilot and look at the reviews there for both companies and you will see the difference.

• A:Answer You can learn more about the materials that Oura Ring's are made from in the Help Center on our website. Externally, the rings is made from titanium with physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold colors. Titanium with Diamond-like Carbon Coating (DLC) is used in Black and Stealth colors. Internally, the rings have a non-allergenic, non-metallic seamless inner molding. This is a medical grade, BPA-free inner surface. Each ring also contains shock resistance and bonding between printed circuit board and the ring's outer frame. None of our rings are known to discolor over time as a result of repeated hand-washing. Keep in mind, the Rose Gold finish is specially designed to be a living color that will develop a darker patina over time. The exact patina effect depends on use and care of your ring.

• A:Answer Hello! The Oura Ring does not have to be worn on a specific finger. The index, middle, and ring fingers usually work the best for the signal quality because blood vessels in those fingers are generally bigger, providing better PPG pulse monitoring. Oura recommends wearing Oura Rings on the index finger for optimal performance and accuracy. The middle or ring fingers are the next best if another finger is preferred. However, both the thumb and pinky work fine.

• A:Answer Hi. Yes, it can be used while wearing hospital gloves and if you have that "sweaty hands" thing going on after peeling them off (even after peeling off layers of gloves). I've packed on 2 pairs or as many as 4 pairs of gloves - don't ask, just had a lot going on at the time - and the ring stayed put. Be sure you have the right size. That is most important.
