Hello! The Oura Ring does not have to be worn on a specific finger. The index, middle, and ring fingers usually work the best for the signal quality because blood vessels in those fingers are generally bigger, providing better PPG pulse monitoring. Oura recommends wearing Oura Rings on the index finger for optimal performance and accuracy. The middle or ring fingers are the next best if another finger is preferred. However, both the thumb and pinky work fine.
