You can learn more about the materials that Oura Ring's are made from in the Help Center on our website. Externally, the rings is made from titanium with physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold colors. Titanium with Diamond-like Carbon Coating (DLC) is used in Black and Stealth colors. Internally, the rings have a non-allergenic, non-metallic seamless inner molding. This is a medical grade, BPA-free inner surface. Each ring also contains shock resistance and bonding between printed circuit board and the ring's outer frame. None of our rings are known to discolor over time as a result of repeated hand-washing. Keep in mind, the Rose Gold finish is specially designed to be a living color that will develop a darker patina over time. The exact patina effect depends on use and care of your ring.
