I wear mine on my middle finger and it doesn’t have an issue. Extra info for your consideration: I’ve been losing Lbs, so the ring was getting loose so data started having gaps. Moved it to another finger so the fit was snug again and data gaps vanished. Hope the info helps.

The index, middle, and ring fingers usually work the best for the signal quality because blood vessels in those fingers are generally bigger, providing better PPG pulse monitoring. Oura recommends wearing Oura Rings on the index finger for optimal performance and accuracy. The middle or ring fingers are the next best if another finger is preferred. However, both the thumb and pinky work fine also.
