From the Oura website, here is the description of their external materials: "Titanium with physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating in Gold, Silver, and Rose Gold colors. Titanium with Diamond-like Carbon Coating (DLC) in Black and Stealth colors" It appears they do not use actual gold, but rather gold "color."
