QuestionI need trim kit 30" (not 24"!) for HomeCHEF 4 in 1 BestBuy ordered me: Model:NN-TK932SS I have a feeling it will not match.. Note - NN-TK81KCS is 24" - I need 27"-30" -can anything else match to this Micro ? my cabinet is wide, 24" will leave hole :(

- Answer The NN-TK81KC is the compatible trim kit and it's indeed 24". The NN-TK932SS is a 30" trim kit, however it does not appear to be compatible with this unit.

QuestionWhat is the inverter function on this unit

- Answer Hi! In a microwave, the magnetron is the component that generates the energy. To power the magnetron requires 4000V. In the past, that was achieved by way of transformers, diodes & capacitors. The inverter replace all of those component and is now the power supply in our inverter models. -A

- Answer You can install it in a cabinet if you're using the proper trim kit NN-TK81KC. The cabinet opening requirements are 23 5⁄8” x 15 9⁄16” x 21”. -M

QuestionCan you use foil on the convection/ bake setting? I want to roast beets wrapped in foil, but I think foil is not ok to use in a microwave…(?)

- Answer Hello! You can use aluminium foil for shielding on the convection setting. You can also use it for broil, but it is not recommended to use it on the airfry setting. Also, when using foil in the oven, allow at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) of space between foil and interior oven walls or door. Hope this helps! -C

QuestionDoes anyone have a picture of the back of this model? Trying to see if it sticks out in a smaller area in the back verses the sides of the case. Trying to fit in a smaller area and I have more space in the center area of the back than on the sides.

- Answer There is a piece of metal that protrudes that prevents the body of the oven from resting against a wall. I’m not certain if this is taken into account with the dimensions.

- Answer It can be “built” into a wall or enclosed onto a counter, but cannot be mounted above or too close ie: adjacent to a heat source. You can purchase a trim kit to install enclosed.

- Answer I know we have a lot of things on top of ours, but it does get hot on top, so I don't think you want a cabinet sitting on it, I would allow a few inches although as for as cooling it has fans that come on and cool it off

- Answer Thank you for reaching out! Kindly be informed that the NN-CD87KS can be installed in a cabinet by using the recommended compatible trim kit (NN-TK81KC). The oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface, which is more than 36 inches (91.6 cm) height from the ground. If installed in a cabinet, please make sure that the air vents are not blocked. If they are blocked during operation, the oven may overheat and be damaged. You must allow 6 inches (15 cm) of space on the top of the oven, 4 inches (10 cm) at back and 2 inches (5 cm) on both sides. If one side of the oven is placed flush to a wall, the other side or top must not be blocked.
