Hello, and thank you for your question! You can deactivate the safety lock by pressing Turbo Defrost, Timer and Popcorn in sequence. Please note that the locked door will disengage when unit is unplugged. Additionally, you can also deactivate the Child Safety Lock by pressing [Stop/Reset] button three time within 10 seconds and a color or the time of day will reappear on the screen. Hope this helps! -C
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see anything on my microwave about a child lock. Nor is there a menu option that might include that. The description of the product is the same and the controls look the same, but no child lock on mine. Sorry I can't be helpful.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.2 methods: To activate In sequence right away Press any of the defrost buttons dependant on your model [Turbo Defrost] or [Auto Defrost] or [Defrost]. Follow by pressing [Timer] and then [Popcorn]. In turn a, a long beep will be heard, "On" will show on the display for roughly 2 seconds, or replug the open, both ways can reactivate the function. If you choose to deactivate this feature you can do so, however we must caution you with regards to the intended purpose of this feature as noted above.
