“Enough space for this product? The space I have for this microwave only leaves 1/4 inch to the wall on either side. (it is an empty cabinet.) Height & depth areas leave plenty of space (at least 2 inches or more). Would you consider this enough space to have adequate ventilation for this Panasonic?”

That is a fire hazard, and even if it wasnt it would greatly reduce the life of the microwave because it needs to be able to keep cool. Over the counter microwaves are designed to be surrounded by cabinets because they vent from the bottom up to usually an exterior venting system,but not this design and never in a cabinet.
