- Answer Actually since this is a corded phone, if I'm not mistaken you should be able to make/receive calls during a power outage with the base....not the handsets though.

QuestionDo all the phones show caller ID when calling in ? If you are talking and another call comes in will it show the caller ID on all the screens?

- Answer Base and handsets all show CID, also our tv which is also on the landline jack, reads it out on lower corner of tv screen. I Cannot see it when talking onanother call, but this option may bee available...instruction manual is very detailed and would probably have instructions on how to set this up.

- Answer As opposed to a cell phone? Yes. The main console phone has conventional corded handset. The two hands free ones sit on their own bases and need to plug into a power source though not a phone line (they use the landline to which the main console must be connected.)

QuestionHello :) Can a ringer be turned off of an individual handset without turning it off of all of them? And when off, will the intercom still work? I'm looking to use as an intercom for my elderly parents but do not want to hear all their calls coming in, TY!

QuestionWhat is the range I have a barn and a sugar shack will the phone and/or intercom work between the buildings. The base would be inside farmhouse barn is about 40' away and the sugar shack is on other side of barn approx 325' from farmhouse. thank you

- Answer I think the problem is with your cell phone.. check your cell phone net work. I had that problem, but since I'm in cell phone business I was able to figure it out

- Answer YES! We just tried that with ours after we saw your question. We disconnected our line line and called our cell phone and it worked perfectly! The Panasonic Phones All Rang and We answered on one of the Panasonic phones and it worked great! (hmm, never thought of that usage BUT for the many who do not have "landlines", this surely would be useful and convenient as then one's cell phone would not have to be carted all over the house with oneself).

- Answer A phone jack is only needed for the base. The handsets just need electrical outlet. I keep my handsets on the chargers all the time but you don’t have to. Just remember to charge them. As far as range, I can go outside and they still work. I haven’t wandered too far from the house but they work on our porch or in the driveway. You may want to purchase a longer handset cord for the base phone. The one supplied is very short!

- Answer Yes, base unit ringer volume/tone can be turned off. I did this to combat spam calls letting them default to answering machine function.
