• A:Answer The KX-TGA939T is a 2 line expansion handset, it is not a compatible handset. The only compatible handset models are the: KX-TGA931T, and the KX-TGA935B. Thank you for your question Al.

• A:Answer Hi, Yes, you can set the handset to that for you. You just need to turn on a feature called "Auto Talk" to perform this.

Q: QuestionI have a 2 line TG9471B base system. Do I really have to buy a $65 expansion phone or can I get the $25 phones to work with my system?We have a home, a home business, and kids. We have 2 lines coming into the TG9471B. Line 1 is our family number and Line 2 is for our business. We would like to save money and buy 3 more less expensive expansion phones and dedicate them to our family phone number on Line 1, and then just reserve the business phone number to Line 2 and the 2 phone units that came in the box. Can this be done?

• A:Answer Hi, You can have a a different model on the same line, plugged on the same line. But if you mean "expansion phone" as extended handset, each base unit has it's own compatible handset. These are the handset that you need to register to the base as extra handset.

• A:Answer It is not possible to give the range in actual distance since the range is relative to where you are to place the base unit. It is recommended to have it placed at a convenient, high, and central location with no obstructions between the handset and base unit in an indoor environment. The frequency the phone works on is 1.9Ghz and it is supposed to provide the longest range compared to other frequencies out on the market right now.
